When ordering...

You can always message me to discuss potential commissions, no strings attached. I will only start your order once payment is received. When you message me for the first time, it is useful if you include the following information:- Shipping address or general area of residence so I can calculate shipping for you. Let me know up front if you want your order shipped with insurance. I will package the artwork well.- Send me a description of your general vision for the artwork, - size, subject, medium, composition, etc.- Include reference pictures of your pet / subject. One good photo should suffice (better quality pictures means better quality artwork!), but a folder with additional images might be useful for color and markings.- Let me know if your order is a gift, - I won't post updates of your commission on my social media and will only post the finished piece after the discussed date.- Remember that my listed prices are base prices. In most cases there won't be any additional costs, but commissions with complex compositions or details might be adjusted upwards. I will let you know the full price of your commission before you finalise your order.

Terms of service

You automatically agree to my terms of service with the first payment of your commission.1. On average, it takes 4-5 weeks to finish commissions. I will message you once I start. If 4-5 weeks is not enough time, the customer will be notified.2. I ask every customer to pay 50% of the commission up front. The other half must be paid before the artwork is shipped, or the commission can be paid in full before I start. 50% of the commission is non-refundable once started. If the customer choses to cancel the commission at any time, I will refund 50% as soon as possible. Once commissions are finished and sent out, refunds aren't possible.3. I reserve the right to cancel or refuse commissions at any time. If the commission was already started I will automatically refund the customer in full.4. The finished artwork will be send to the customer packaged in plastic, paper and a fitting box. I am not responsible for damages through transit. If you're afraid your order might get damaged or lost in the mail, you can ask me to send your order with insurance for additional cost. This way the postal office will (partially) refund you if anything happens.5. The customer retains the rights to the drawn character / animal / person, but may only use the commissioned artwork privately and in no case commercially.6. The customer may post the final artwork on personal social media with my credit. Editing the artwork is not allowed.7. If the customer can't be reached for a time period of three months, no refund will be given and the commission will be forfeited, if not already cancelled.8. I keep the sole copyright to all my work and reserve the right to use all artwork for my portfolio, social media and website. Please communicate with me beforehand if you don't want the commission shared at the time of completion (e.g. gifts).9. Communication of orders either goes through discord (muurkaartjes), email ([email protected]) or instagram (@muurkaartjes).10. I will regularly keep you updated with your order. The customer is always welcome to ask for an update.11. The customer has the right to make up to three changes in the sketching phase. If further changes are required, these will be billed additionally. No major changes will be made once the commission is complete. Only small color corrections are possible.12. The customer is not allowed to use unfinished artwork (e.g. let another artist finish my sketch).
